Our History of Leaders

  • Leadership:

A Polemarch is the president of a local chapter or a province, responsible for guiding the organization's activities and strategic direction.

  • Historical Roots:

The term "Polemarch" comes from ancient Greek, meaning a leader in war. Kappa Alpha Psi adopted this term to connect with the historical spirit of strategic leadership, crucial for overcoming the challenges faced by Black people during its founding.

  • Fulfilling the Vision:

Past Polemarchs embody the fraternity's ideals of Achievement in every field of human endeavor by spearheading initiatives, developing leaders, and serving the community.
