Brother Johnny Norris, Historian

Johnny Norris is a native of Rolling Fork, Mississippi. He is the fourth child of six children of the late Mr.& Mrs. LJ Norris Sr. After graduating Rolling Fork High School in 1986, he enlisted in the Army National Guard and served in Desert Storm. Johnny did his post-secondary studies at Hinds Jr.College(Raymond Campus) and Jackson State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Johnny was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated in the Fall of 93 through the Vicksburg Alumni Chapter.

He is the proud father of Jasmine, Jaida and Journey and the grandfather of Avery Catherine and Anthony Jr. Johnny is a member of Cummings Street Baptist Church, a Life Member of the Jackson State Alumni Association, and a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated.

Historian

As the WMMAC Historian, I will collect and evaluate information from various primary sources to answer questions about historical events and the historical method. I will analyze written records, physical artifacts, and other types of information throughout our search to reconstruct and recreate history.
