Dr. Eric Bailey, KOR

Dr. Eric Bailey II serves as the Senior Associate Vice Provost for Student Academic Success at the University of Memphis. During his nearly 15-year tenure in higher education, Brother Bailey has received over $3 million in grants to support students' success, has served on 10+ dissertation committees, and has been selected to present at multiple national and/or regional conferences on leadership, career advancement, diversity & inclusion, and Black male student experiences. Brother Bailey holds a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree from the University of Memphis ('08), a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management ('10), and a Doctorate of Education ('17) from the University of Memphis. 

 

Brother Bailey joined the Noble Klan of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. via the West Memphis Marion (AR) Alumni chapter in the Spring of 2024. Since his initiation, he has actively served as a Mentor to the Kappa League, participated in the Kappa Reads program, and has been training for leadership by attending Province Council and C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference. He accepted the nomination and assumed the role of Keeper of Records for 2025-26.
